Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to bring money for food?
Meals will be included with your registration fees from dinner on the 30th until lunch on January 4th.  You may want to bring money for our onsite coffee shop, lunch on the day of outreach, and the bookstore.  Some drinks, like regular coffee, will be free, but premium drinks will have a nominal charge.

Where is the Winter Conference going to be held?
Master Plan Ministries' Three Trails Ranch located 40 minutes NE of downtown Durango, CO.  The address is 2038 Sierra Verde Dr., Durango, CO 81301.

What do I need to bring for bedding?
See the tab titled "Plan Your Trip”

Is there cell service at the Ranch?
No, there isn’t as we are up high in the mountains!  The Landline is 970-259-2354.  Give this to your parents just in case they need to contact you.

Is there internet at the ranch?
There is limited internet access that will be available for students to use for low band-width applications, such as email.

How do I get to the conference?
Get your buddies together and carpool.  Plan on letting a Master Plan staff person know that you are driving, and if you have space, they may have others that can ride with you and share gas.

What if it snows?
As long as the roads are open, proceed to the Three Trails Ranch cautiously.  You will need 4-wheel drive or front wheel drive with chains to get all the way to the ranch.  Let the staff know if you are having car trouble.  The $50 deposit is not refundable unless there are major circumstances that would keep us from holding the conference. Let us know if you have an emergency and cannot come after you have registered.  If you don't have four wheel drive, we will offer a shuttle service from Lemon Reservoir up the steep Sierra Verde Drive to the Three Trails Ranch.

When do I need to get to the Ranch?
Onsite check in registration is between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on December 30th.

What do I do if the website says the conference is full? Can I still go?
We have a limited number of spaces, so when the conference fills up, we can not take anyone else. If you'd like to get on a wait list, email Austin.Krokos@mpmstaff.com and we'll let you know if a spot opens up.

Can I pay with a check or cash?
Yes. Bring it to the conference and pay when you register.  You do need to pay the $50 registration fee online to hold your spot with a debit or credit card. If you don't have one, you might ask a friend if you can pay them cash to use their card.

How many roommates will I have?
The girls and guys each have a huge room with 30 bunk beds in each one.  See photos in the Gallery tab.

If I'm not part of Master Plan can I still come?
Yes. We'll love to have you if you are a college student between the ages of 18-25. If you are outside of this target age range, please talk to a MPM staff person as we may be able to make exceptions.  If unsure, please call Austin Krokos at 970-749-7873,
